Carol Mann

Carol started acting and dancing at an age almost too young to remember.  Growing up, she and her friends put on "cabarets" in her neighbor's basement, selling tickets to neighbors to raise money to build a hospital near her small town in New Jersey. Her love of theater and dance continued through high school and college, where she was involved in 4-5 productions a year both in front of and behind the curtain. She even won a bit of cash in an acting competition to put towards college. Grad school, a career, and raising a family put a temporary stop to Carol's theater involvement, but it has always been on her mind to find a spot in theater again.

Fast forward a few years to a high-Sierra Girl Scout camp, where Carol's love of theater found a way to unleash itself to entertain campers. There, amongst the dirt, granite, and redwoods, she was "discovered" by fellow TiR-er, Bill Younger. For better or worse, the rest as they say is history.

This is Carol's first foray into improv, outside of theater "warm-ups," and she is thrilled to be working with a group as wonderful as Trapped In A Rumor. She's also eternally grateful to her understanding family who let's her go out and play every week, "practicing" playing at improv.
